JARRAHFALL BUSH CAMP WEDDING
My oh my....yesterday's wedding ticked all the boxes, dreamy forrest location, gorgeous rustic romantic styling and a wonderful relaxed couple and vibe. The weather may have been gloomy but their day was anything but.
Jarrahfall Bush Camp in Dwellingup was the perfect spot for Amber & Rhyse’s wedding ceremony, I loved the mix of tall Jarrah’s, grass trees and tree ferns. As guests made their way down the forrest path following the wooden ‘ceremony’ sign it was quite a breathtaking sight to see the clearing with the ceremony setup of the wooden arbour with beautiful florals in whites & greens by Pick a Petal and wooden bench seating. Surrounded by nature, their ceremony was officiated by Karlie Louise and was full of love, many hilarious moments and a tear or two when Rhyse laid eyes on his stunning bride making her way down the aisle. Amber looked like a goddess in her Evie Young Bridal long sheer sleeved gown, the whole styling of the day was ‘modern romantic’ and her dress fit that styling perfectly. After exchanging their vows & rings, they came back down the aisle to congratulations and heartfelt hugs from their family & friends before we utilised the forrest surrounds for some portraits with their bridesmaid & groomsman. These guys were a breeze to photograph, such a lovely bunch.
Amber & Rhyse’s reception was under a big cream marquee at Jarrahfall. They entered to cheers from their guests and that party vibe continued….from their first dance through to the most hilarious version of the shoe game yet and everything inbetween.
As a photographer their day was aesthetically beautiful, but more importantly these two were so down to earth and genuine, it was such a pleasure to capture their day. It was also the second wedding within the family I had captured (Rhyse’s sister Telina & her hubby Darcy had tied the knot a little over 18months prior). Always a bit more special to see previous couples and their families again.
