Two of the sweetest souls tied the knot in November at the Perth Zoo Homestead in a beautiful ceremony officiated by the lovely Julie Chesson who told their love story, finishing with a butterfly release which seemed so very appropriate for a Zoo wedding. Their joy at marrying each other was so evident from the moment Georgia walked down the aisle, throughout their vows and as they came back down the aisle as ‘Mr & Mrs Dixon’….there wasn’t a guest or vendor at the ceremony that wasn’t smiling the whole way through. I was so incredibly happy for them both that the grey skies and morning rain cleared in time for their dream day.

Georgia had such a divine 50's vibe & styling, she looked absolutely stunning in her ‘English Rose Bridal’ gown. I loved her whole look, with hair & makeup by the talented gals from ‘Lush Hair & Makeup’ and gorgeous yellow florals by ‘Beautiful flowers by Stacey’ which really popped against the bridesmaids emerald green dresses.

After their ceremony and family photos we made our way around the zoo to a number of picturesque locations to capture some wedding portraits and memories. Shoutout to one awesome bridal crew who really were the best...such a fun bunch and also to Katrina & crew from the zoo who ferried us around on the zebra carts. Along the way I spotted some yellow blooms which was a ‘stop the cart’ moment as I knew photos at this spot would tie in perfectly with Georgia’s florals. Another highlight was photos at Wave Rock where Georgia & Jeff nailed those twirls, to a background symphony of bird and animal sounds. After a quick dress change and before boarding their boat cruise reception we captured some final portraits with the Perth city skyline in the background.

Wishing the newlyweds every happiness, I so enjoyed capturing their wedding day memories. Thanks so much for having me along for the ride!
