Summer Love | A Vines Resort Wedding
Marisa and Colin tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony at The Vines Resort Pavilion in early January 2021, and it was truly a day to remember. Despite the challenges of COVID-19 restrictions and border closures, everything fell into place perfectly, and I couldn’t be happier for them.
A Personal and Meaningful Ceremony
One of the most unique and touching aspects of this wedding was that Colin’s Uncle Mike officiated the ceremony. It added such a personal and heartfelt touch, making the ceremony even more special for the couple and their families.
Marisa looked absolutely stunning as she walked down the aisle with her dad and brother, and Colin’s reaction when he saw her was priceless. You could see the love and excitement on their faces, and I loved capturing the raw emotion of the moment. It’s these genuine moments that make weddings so incredible to photograph.
The Bridal Party & Adorable Kids
Marisa and Colin had a wonderful wedding party of four, however it was their flower girls, page boys and ring bearers that stole the show, they were incredibly cute and added a lot of fun and charm to the ceremony. So many sweet, natural moments throughout the day.
Stunning Photos at The Vines Resort
After the ceremony, we took some time to capture family photos, and then hopped onto the golf buggy’s to travel around the grounds of The Vines Resort. The venue offered so many great spots for wedding party snaps and couples photos, with gorgeous pink flowers in bloom, and lush greenery lakeside. As a Perth wedding photographer, I’m always excited to photograph at venues like The Vines Resort, which has so many photo locations.
The day was full of lovely moments, and I was able to capture those intimate, fun, and timeless photos that Marisa and Colin will hopefully treasure for years to come.
Elegant Reception at The Vines Resort
The reception followed in style, with stunning gold details that made the space look so elegant and classy. The newlyweds made their entrance into a room that was filled with cheers and went straight into their first dance. The atmosphere was great, and guests enjoyed a wonderful celebration that was filled with both heartfelt & hilarious speeches, dancing and great food. I was so happy for them that the sky at sunset ended up being a stunner so we were able to sneak out and grab a few portraits.
