Vanessa + Sam | 28.3.2015 | Palm Beach Rockingham | Perth Wedding Photography
When I first met with Vanessa & Sam to discuss their wedding plans, I loved how meaningful they were making their wedding. With both of them spending their childhood summer's beachside, down in Rockingham with grandparents - lots of swimming, fishing & icecreams, Palm Beach was the obvious & very sentimental choice for their ceremony, with the reception in the backyard of the house Vanessa's grandparents built. It was a wonderful celebration filled with family, friends, children running around & alot of love - paper lanterns lit the backyard, with a dance floor & dj's spinning some vinyl. (Vanessa & Sam's first dance was a killer Rumba!). There was bocce & totem tennis on the front lawn and a pig on a spit (Sam's requirement) - and some great speeches. We did a 'first look' with the bride & groom prior to the ceremony and all of their photo's and family formals were taken then as well. This made for a lovely flow and mean't that Vanessa & Sam could go and celebrate straight after their vows.
The request from Vanessa & Sam was for the wedding to be documented as candidly as possible, capturing really genuine moments.
Congratulations to you both - it was an absolute pleasure to be a small part of your special day.
